Some window cleaners are sold on the idea and tries to convince home owners that cleaning your windows with a water-fed extension pole is better. These poles were designed to be used on glass commercial buildings four stories high, and not on residential homes.
These poles can't clean off paint over spray, bird droppings, bug drops, tree sap, and anything else that takes scrubbing with a little elbow grease to take off. These poles also can't be used inside the home unless the client does not mind water everywhere:)
For some homes a water-fed pole would be a good option to clean the exterior, for homes taller than three stories, or homes that are less that 10 feet apart from each other.
