What an end to a nice year! The weather has been pretty favorable to clean up moss from roofs and treat it. Some people do not know that the winter time when it rains quite a bit is actually the best time to remove the moss from roofs. There are actually thriving and easier to remove more of it. Different moss products have different requirements for treatment. Some actually require the weather to be not rainy and a certain temperature outside, and some require 24-48 hours of no rain, but there are a few treatments that can work in the rain, such as powder based product.

Pressure Washing in the winter time can be done, but carefully. Sidewalks and driveways get slippery in the rain from moss and algae, which customers know it is best to get that taken care of. But also being careful about the temperature outside, doing the work when it is above freezing, so the water from the pressure washing does not freeze on the area just cleaned.
